General Information
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Dave Steel Photography, including but not limited to photography sessions, prints, digital files, and any other products or services offered. By booking a session or purchasing products from us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
Services
Our services include photography sessions for events, portraits, weddings, commercial shoots, and other photography-
related services as described on our website. Session details, including location, date, and time, will be confirmed in writing. Any changes to these details must be agreed upon by both parties in advance.
Booking and Payment Booking
To book a photography session, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the day of the session, unless otherwise specified. Payment Methods: We accept payment via bank transfer only. All payments must be made in full 30 days before the day of the session, unless otherwise agreed upon.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please notify us at least 30 days in advance, if full payment has been made then you will receive a refund less the deposit amount paid, Cancellations made with less than 10 days will result in the entire booking being non refundable
Delivery of Products
Digital files are typically delivered within 2 weeks after the session. You will receive an email with a link to view and download the prints. Print orders are usually processed and shipped within 7 days. Please allow additional time for delivery, depending on your shipping location. Shipping charges are not included in the cost of the session or product. Shipping costs will be calculated and added at checkout.
Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that you arrive at the agreed location on time for your session. You must provide us with accurate information about the location, time, and any specific requests or preferences regarding the shoot. Failure to do so may impact the quality or outcome of the session. If you fail to attend the session without prior notice, the deposit and all monies paid will not be refunded, and rescheduling may incur additional fees.
Image Usage and Rights Copyright
Dave Steel Photography retains the copyright to all photographs and images created during your session. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the images for personal, non-commercial purposes, including printing for personal use and sharing on social media. If you wish to use the images for commercial purposes (e.g., advertising, product promotion), a separate licensing agreement and fee may be required. By booking a session, you consent to the use of your images for marketing, promotional, and portfolio purposes by Dave Steel Photography. If you do not wish for your images to be used in this way, please notify us in writing prior to the session.
Image Quality
We take great care in editing and processing your images. However, please note that the final images may vary slightly from what is shown during the session due to lighting conditions, camera settings, and other factors. If you have specific requests for edits or retouching, please discuss them with us before or during the session.
Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide the highest quality service, Dave Steel Photography is not responsible for any failure or delay in the performance of the services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, acts of God, equipment failure, or other unforeseen events. In the unlikely event that your images are lost, damaged, or otherwise compromised, Dave Steel Photography's liability is limited to a full refund of the session fee or re-shooting the session, at our discretion. We will make every effort to safeguard your images and provide high-quality results.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dave Steel Photography from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of our services, including any breach of these Terms and Conditions.
Privacy and Data Protection

Force Majeure
Dave Steel Photography will not be held responsible for failure or delay in performance of our services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, strikes, natural disasters, or other unforeseen events.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of The United Kingdom. In the event of a dispute, we will attempt to resolve the issue amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be settled through binding arbitration or mediation, as per the laws of The United Kingdom.
Modifications to Terms
Dave Steel Photography reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the revised terms will apply to all future services booked after the date of the update.
